Katie Stansbury enters her fourth season as an assistant volleyball coach in 2025-26.
In her first season, she helped the team earn seven victories while guiding Cami Sweet and Iyanna Lewis to All-NCAC honors.
Stansbury came to Oberlin after spending the 2021 season as the assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach at nearby Padua Franciscan High School in Parma, Ohio. Additionally, Stansbury has coached national club volleyball for the Cleveland Volleyball Company and provided private instruction.
A former standout player at Division I Colgate University, Stansbury registered 702 career kills and 1,045 digs for the Raiders as a four-year starting outside hitter/libero and was a two-time Patriot League honorable-mention selection. A three-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, Stansbury also earned Patriot League All-Tournament Team honors in 2018.
The all-time kills leader at Padua High School, Stansbury helped the Bruins win the OHSAA Division II state championship in 2013 while earning all-state laurels in 2013 and 2014.
Stansbury graduated from Colgate with honors in biology in 2019 and earned a master's degree in biological sciences from Florida International University in 2021.
