Justin Blankenburg enters his first year with Oberlin College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2025.
Blankenburg brings comprehensive clinical experience having worked across NCAA Division I and Division III collegiate athletics, high school sports programs, and outpatient clinical settings.
His background includes extensive hands-on involvement in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation for athletes in a variety of competitive environments.
Blankenburg holds national certification from the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers and is licensed through the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board.
In 2023, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Baldwin Wallace University. He completed his Master of Science in Athletic Training at Kent State University in 2025.
