Emily Harris

Emily Harris enters her first season as the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Oberlin in 2025-26.

Competing for the Vermont State University Castleton field hockey team, Harris is a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American (2021 & 2023). The current NCAA Division III record holder in season points per game, career points per game, season goals per game, and career goals per game, the England native also boasts six Castleton program records.

During her time at Castleton, Harris worked as a strength and conditioning intern, working with all varsity teams. Previously, she coached with the Basingstoke Bison Ice Hockey Club in the United Kingdom and served as an assistant field hockey coach for the Winchester Field Hockey Club's U18 Men's Team. 

A member of the Great Britain National Field Hockey team from 2018 to 2019, Harris has also been an active member of the Great Britain National Ice Hockey team since 2019. Harris and the team won the gold medal at the 2022 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's World Championship and were an IIHF World Championship team in 2023. 

Harris earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Vermont State University Castleton in 2024 and completed her master's in exercise and nutritional sciences from the University of Tampa in August 2025.Â
