Brooke Wallace enters her third season with Oberlin after joining the women’s basketball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2019-2020.
Wallace begins her collegiate coaching career at Oberlin after playing professionally in Iceland for Hauker based in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland.
The Oberlin, Ohio native played collegiately at Kentucky State University, Division II members of the Southern Athletic Intercollegiate Conference (SIAC). A three-year member of the Thorobrettes, Wallace transferred to Kentucky State after spending her first-year at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
As a senior, Wallace averaged 12.7 points per game and 10.7 rebounds with 18 double-doubles. For her efforts she was named Second-Team All-SIAC and to the SIAC Tournament Team. Additionally, she was the second player in school history to record a triple-double when she scored 23 points with 11 rebounds and 10 steals against Oakland City on 2/1/19.
Wallace played high school ball locally at Amherst Steele where she finished her career with over 1,000 points, 800 rebounds and 100 blocks which concluded with her being honored with the 2015 Lorain County Miss Basketball award.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Kentucky State in May 2019.
