Summary

Biography

Colleen is honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Heisman Board.  She brings a life-long commitment to education, sports, and fitness and wellness and a career in management consulting.

From 1975-1979, she was a member of the Women’s Swim Team and had the pleasure of being coached by Oberlin legends such as Dick Michaels, CJ Heckman, MJ Culhane, and Judi Flohr.  She was an enthusiastic intramural basketball player and tried her hand at other varsity sports. 

Colleen played first base on the first softball team, and at the encouragement of Carla White (Freyvogel), ran cross-country in 1978-1979 and developed a love for running that continues today.

In her work life, Colleen has helped executives and organizations for over 30 years, improve their business effectiveness. She has extensive experience designing integrated talent management strategies that support the execution of business strategies and enhance the development and engagement of leaders.  Colleen leads Korn Ferry Advisory Consumer Market in North America. 

At Oberlin, Colleen majored in psychobiology and earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia.  Her son, Connor McCleskey (’15) is also a graduate of Oberlin.
