2009 Season Stats

Zach enters his first season with the Yeomen after opting not to play last season because of an injury he received while playing Soccer. Zach came in as a highly touted pitcher and looks to fill some big innings for the Yeomen this season.

Prior to Oberlin: Zach is a 2007 graduate of Ransom Everglades High School in Miami, Florida. Zach was a two-sport standout, earning many accolades for his play on the the baseball diamond and soccer field. He was a four-year letter winner and four-year starter for the baseball team. His Junior year was his best statistical season as he batted .380 with 4 HR and 33 RBI while also excelling on the mound. Zach was also an All-County and All-State soccer player.

In addition to playing baseball, Zach is a standout goalie for the Yeomen Men's Soccer team. He is a two year starter in net for the Yeomen. Zach enjoys pottery and coin collecting.

Zach was born on May 19, 1989 and is the son of Steve and Tracie Lipshultz. Zach has three sisters, Hannah, Emma, and Sarah. Zach is a Environmental Studies major. After graduation he aspires to travel.
