Ben returns to the Yeomen for his third season after transferring from Syracuse University. Ben is one of the four catchers in Yeomen roster for 2009.

Prior to Oberlin: Ben is a 2004 graduate of Northampton High School. Ben was an Honor-Roll student at Northampton and also ran Varsity cross-country.

Ben is a licensed Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor. Ben spends his summers back in Massachusetts working as a Flight Instructor. At Oberlin Ben is a Neuroscience Major and excels in the classroom. Ben is also a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Ben was born on July 26, 1986 and is the son of David and Jenny Foster.  Ben is a college program officer candidate in the US Navy Reserve and after graduation Ben will be leaving for US Navy Flight School.   Ben has one brother Will who is a Senior in High School.
