Oberlin College Athletics Complex
West Gym
The West Gym is an auxiliary court inside the Jesse Philips Physical Education Center at 200 Woodland Street, the 115,000-square-foot hallmark of Oberlin’s athletic complex. It gives the department extra floor space beyond the Main Gym, which hosts varsity basketball and volleyball.
Because it’s open and adaptable, the West Gym is one of the busiest spaces on campus outside of varsity competition. It has hosted a first-ever table tennis tournament, a pickleball tournament, Festi-Ball, a spring blood drive, and a Student Senate volunteer event with Rise Against Hunger.
The West Gym provides flexible indoor space for recreation, intramural sports and campus activities.
