Bethany Pribila ‘97
Bethany is so committed to the healing power of sport that she left her job as general counsel to Avant Energy to start, with her husband, a non-profit called Team R4V. Team R4V is dedicated to empowering ill and injured veterans through participation in sports. Currently, Bethany is the CEO.
A former OC tennis player, she still plays regularly and she also enjoys running, hiking, biking…anything outdoors.
Being on the Heisman Club board is a natural extension of how she spends her time, both professionally and personally.
Success as an Oberlin athlete gave her fond memories. In her senior year, the women’s tennis team made it to the NCAC finals and finished second to the eventual National champions. Bethany remembers being carried off the court in celebration.
“I used to think others did not respect Oberlin athletes NOW I think others just underestimate Oberlin athletes.”
