Ice Hockey

14014
With over 50 years of history, Oberlin's co-ed ice hockey team invites hockey players of all skill levels, including beginners, to play in both relaxed and competitive situations. The OC Plague provides ice time, equipment and instruction as well as transportation to the local ice rink in Elyria, just 15 minutes from campus. The club competes against other college teams as well as local community league teams. Practices and drop-in hockey are available about three times a week and the team typically competes in five games per semester. Team lunches at Rathskellar restaurant are regularly held as another opportunity to relax with and get to know teammates. The Plague also offers an EXCO class for beginners who want to learn the basics of ice-skating and hockey with both student and coach instruction.
