As the home court for men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball, Main Gym is one of the most active facilities on the athletic campus. After 20 years of use, the floor was refinished in the summer of 2010 with a new and modern look. Displaying the new Oberlin College Athletics logos, the facility received a much needed face lift. The new look should develop excitement and hopefully propel the Yeoman and Yeowomen to successful seasons this year and beyond.
In the Fall of 2011, courtesy of the generous donation of the Hanson Family, in honor of Philip Thomas, Main Gym was the recipient of new Daktronics scoreboards. The boards filled a big need and vastly improved the image of the competition space.
