Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Men’s Tennis Opens Season at Allegheny

Meadville, PA – Select members of the Oberlin College men's tennis team competed at the Allegheny College Invitational over the weekend.
 
The Yeomen took part in eight singles matches on Saturday with Sunday's doubles slate being washed out due to rain.
 
Newcomers James Foster and Shawn Lisann picked up their first collegiate wins to headline the weekend.
 
Foster was a 0-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-8) winner over Trey Kernan of Baldwin Wallace, while Lisann also picked up a three-set victory over Lukas Kohler of Division II Walsh University by the scores of 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4).
 
Grant North, Nathan Englehart, Sebastien Naginski, and Zach Anderson also competed for the Yeomen.
 
The men's tennis team returns to action on September 17 at the Kenyon College Invitational.
