now Holland, Michigan- Coming off an NCAC title run, the Oberlin College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships Saturday morning. Every single athlete posted season-bests, while 14 runners earned the best times of their career. With 340 points, the Yeomen finished tenth, while the Yeowomen finished 14
th with 416 points.

Leading the Crimson and Gold in men's 8k was sophomore
Walter Moak with a personal-best time of 24:55.7 to earn a top-25 finish.

In a very tight pack,
Jonah Barber came through at 25:24. before
Niels Vanderloo finished in 25:40.5 for 54
th and 80
th, respectively. Both Barber and Vanderloo beat their previous career-best 8k times, each by .2 seconds. Rounding out the top-100 was
Matthew Walton (25:47.8) and
Sam Russ (25:58.5) who both finished with

Bringing up the rear of the Yeomen harriers,
Ross D'Orfani with a time of 26:13.4 and
Aidan Duffield 27:33.3.

In the women's 6k race,
Sage Reddish ran a 22:42.3 to earn 44
th-place while
Eliza Medearis came close behind with a time of 22:45.7 for 53
rd. Staying within the top-100 runners,
Sunniva Sheffield and
Margo Lee ran 23:17.5 and 23:51.2, respectively.

Finishing in a tight pack at the end,
Ish Houle (24:32.3),
Ellis Santangelo (24:38.8), and
Amber Borofsky (24:43.2) completed Oberlin's 6k run.
The Oberlin squad now await the next steps and results of other regional races to see if they can earn bids into the NCAA Championships that take place next Saturday, November 19
