Cross Country Competes at Pre-Nationals

Olivet, MI – The Oberlin College cross country teams competed at the site of the NCAA Championships with the Yeomen placing 20th out of 36 teams with 594 points, while the Yeowomen were 27th with 741 points.

Walter Moak was the top Oberlin finisher as he clocked in at 26:18.3 to place 88th. Jonah Barber completed the 8k trek in 26:47 to place 124th while Ross D'Orfani was close behind in 26:53.4 as he checked in 135th
.
Sam Russ (26.57.9 / 140th) and Johnny Ragsdale (27:11.8 / 161th) rounded out the Yeomen's top five point producers.

Senior Sage Reddish led the women's team in 114th place with a time of 24:15.11. Classmate Sunniva Sheffield was close behind at 24:15.1 to finish in 120th place.
Eliza Medearis placed 137th by finishing the 5k journey in 24:28.2.

Margo Lee stopped the clock at 26:17.1 to end in 240th while Amber Borofsky was one spot in 26:17.4.

Oberlin is back in action on October 15 when it plays host to the annual Inter-Regional Rumble.
