With 70 ticks left on the clock, a 3-pointer from Arthur made it a 14-13 Thunder lead but Trine scored the final four points of the frame to take an 18-13 cushion into the second.
Oberlin had the margin down to three in the early going of the second session, but a 16-3 Thunder burst ballooned the lead out to 34-18 with 3:37 left in the opening half. The margin would increase to as many as 19 but Trine ultimately carried a 41-24 lead into the intermission as Canning beat the buzzer with a layup.
The Yeowomen never threatened in the second half as the Thunder increased their lead out to 31 points going into the fourth quarter.
