Monique Newton earned a pair of All-American finishes at the national meet last weekend, highlighted by her national championship performance in the discus. Newton earned a mark of 164-06 (50.14m) to beat the 21-person field in the discus and on day-two she placed second in the shot put with a toss of 48-06.00 (14.78m). The senior caps her illustrious career as an eight-time All-American.
