Monique Newton earned 20 team points to held the Yeowomen claim first-place at the All-Ohio Championships last weekend. The senior won both the discus (154-05.00) and shot put (47-05.25) events. On the Division III top performance list, Newton's throw in the discus is the best in the country, while her heave in the shot put ranks second.
