Linnea Halsten set a school record in the 5,000-meter run last Friday with her finish of 17:01.00. The first place finish at the Golden Flash Gala bested Joanna Johnson's time of 17:02.46, set at the 2011 NCAA Indoor Championships. Halsten's time is currently the third best time in the country.
