First-Year Naeisha McClain ripped off a throw of 49-02.50 to set a meet record in the shot put at the NCAC Indoor Championships. The heave is the third farthest throw in Division III this season, earning her a trip to nationals this weekend.

At the conference meet, McClain also placed seventh in the weight throw.
