Junior Gwennie Gardiner closed the 2016 season by earning North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor as she  helped the Yeowomen secure a pair of season-ending wins over Hiram and Denison.
 
In a 3-0 blanking of the Terriers, Gardiner scored a goal and assisted on the game's first score ...  She followed up that performance by cashing in both goals in Oberlin's 2-1 upset win over Denison University in the season finale on Saturday.
