Oberlin College senior track and field and cross country runner Samuel Coates-Finke won the Rite Aid Cleveland Half Marathon on Sunday morning in downtown Cleveland.

Battling through terrible wintry weather conditions, Coates-Finke bested a field that featured 4,552 entries by finishing the 13.1-mile race in 1:12:40.

Wearing bib number 7,268, the 22-year-old harrier from Northampton, Massachusetts, ran at mile pace of 5:32.
