In the sand pit at the Wooster Invitational, Sam Black leaped to third in the long jump with a mark of 5.98m (19-07.50) Between the painted lines, Black went on to a second-place finish in the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.24 in his first running event of the day. Black concluded the day with a third-place finish in the 200 meter dash, edging out teammate Jabari Clemons in 24.22. Black accounted for nearly a third of the Yeomen's team points.
