Senior Grace Porter was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week after an undefeated, 4-0, week of tennis.

The Bainbridge Island, Washington native, helped guide the Yeowomen to a pair of an NCAC East wins and the No. 2 seed in the upcoming NCAC Tournament.

The regionally ranked pairing of Porter and first-year Sarah Hughes went 2-0 in the No.1 doubles bout in a 7-2 win over Kenyon and 9-0 victory of the Allegheny Gators.

Porter easily got past the Gators' Sun Moo Koo, 6-0, 6-1, and went on to upset Kenyon's Diana Aboubakare 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 as she ranked 12^th in the region. Porter entered last week's matchups ranked 16th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Region

The Yeowomen ace will look to lead the team to the NCAC Championship match this weekend in Gambier, Ohio. Oberlin opens with the College of Wooster, who they dropped 8-1 in the regular season matchup.
