Urso won the men's 800-meter dash at last Saturday's North Coast Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships. The sophomore had the ninth-best qualifying time for the finals, but shave over two seconds off that time to win the race.

His time of 1:55.06 was just .69 seconds faster than the second place finisher.
