The Yeomen baseball team opened conference play this past week and went 5-1 in those games to start off NCAC play strong.

Mike McDonald was simply unhittable in the Yeomen’s 11-1 win over Kenyon as he struck out a career-high 11 hitters in the complete-game four-hit victory in which he did not issue a walk. In the game a total of 76 percent of his pitches went for strikes as he was in the zone on 68 of his 89 total pitches.

His week started with him pitching six innings of four-hit ball that saw him allow just one earned run in a 9-2 win over Hiram.
