First-year Sara Phister was named North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday evening.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Phister led the Yeowomen to a 2-0 week, totaling 12 points on eight goals and four assists in a pair of convincing wins. The rookie also secured 12 draw controls in the two games.

In a 22-6 win over Lourdes she scored five times and dished out two assists to go along with six draws. She followed that effort with three goals, two assists and six more draw controls in a 12-5 win over Alma.

Through three games she leads the team in goals (9), assists (4), points (13), and draw controls (16).
