Junior Katie Pieplow was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday evening.

A native of Rescue, California, Pieplow helped the Yeowomen earn a split against Maryville College on Saturday. The junior recorded seven RBIs and had three hits in the doubleheader against the Scots.

In game two she totaled four RBIs in the first two innings, belting a two-run home run in the first before following with a two-run single in the second.

She also pitched the final two innings of game one, earning the save in a 4-2 victory.
