Sophomore Mitch Novak was named to the NCAC All-Tournament as his efforts helped Oberlin finish in third place in what was its first-ever trip to the NCAC Tournament ... In three games, Novak had four hits and three RBIs ...His two-run double in the bottom of the ninth against Denison kept the team's season alive as the team eventually went on to win 6-5 in 12 innings.
