Freshman Jerry Choi wasted no time making an impression on the collegiate stage as he was named as the NCAC Sprints/Hurdles Runner of the Week for his performance at Oberlin’s own Dan Kinsey Invitational on Friday. The New Hyde, New York, native flew through the 60-meter hurdles in 8.92 to finish in second place and was also the highest Division III finisher in the 60-meter dash with a mark of 7.46.
