Laura Jessee, a junior middle hitter on the volleyball team is not only the Oberlin College Athlete of the Week, but she is also the NCAC Player of the Week for women's volleyball. Jessee, who has missed most of the fall due to injury, led the Yeowomen to their first victory of the season on Saturday after she slammed down 12 kills in the straight-set triumph over Ohio Wesleyan. In addition, Jessee added 14 kills in Oberlin’s 3-0 setback against Allegheny on Wednesday.
