Freshman Women's Cross Country team member Carey Lyons has been named NCAC runner of the week.

Carey helped the Yeowomen to a sixth-place finish as she placed 28th overall (23:29) this past weekend at the Williams Invitational. She ran her best race of the year, and helped the Yeowomen show that they can compete with elite competition. They finished ahead of nationally ranked Colby College.

Lyons and the Yeowomen look to climb up the national rankings on October 1st, at the All-Ohio meet located on the campus of Cedarville University.
