Marissa Clardy was named as the NCAC Sprints/Hurdles MVP for her performance at the NCAC Indoor Championships ... The Kittanning, Pennsylvania, native won the 400 meters by improving upon her NCAA provisional qualifying time with a mark of 58.58. She also ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 meter relay team that set a new NCAC meet record with a mark of 4:04.43, and the winning 4x200 meter relay (1:46.34).
