Oberlin College senior Laura Vernon was named as the North Coast Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Sunday afternoon.

Vernon, a native of Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania, cleared 10-feet in the pole vault at Oberlin’s own Dan Kinsey Invitational this past Friday.
