After having just 70 yards and a touchdown on nine catches his entire freshman season in 2019, Bear Broyles surpassed all of those totals in just one game in Oberlin's 24-17 heartbreaking loss to Kalamazoo as he caught 10 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns ... Broyles, who had a 38-yard completion wiped out on a hold, had eight of his 10 catches go for first downs … His 10 snags were the most of any wideout in the NCAC in week one, while his yardage total was third best behind Wittenberg's Jake Saus (140) and Kenyon's Andrew Schnarre (131).
