Senior Joshua Friedkin was named North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
 
A native of Emeryville, California, Friedkin became the 26^th player is school history to surpass 1,000 career points in the Yeomen's 70-69 win over Defiance last week.
 
The 5-foot-11 guard reached the milestone in thrilling fashion as his go-ahead 3-pointer with 25 seconds left to play proved to be the difference in the victory.
 
Friedkin finished the game with a team-high 17 points to give him 1,001 for his illustrious four-year career.
