Jacob Thompson, who ranks third in the North Coast Athletic Conference with a .509 batting average, closed out the Yeomen's spring break slate on fire, hitting .692 over the final four games of the trip. He went 9-of-13 with two doubles, two triples, and 8 RBIs. He totaled 15 bases and scored four runs while slugging 1.154 and producing an OPS of 1.821. Thompson, who had an on-base percentage of .667, had two or more hits in each game and now leads the team with nine multi-hit games. Over the eight-game spring break trip, he hit .593 (16-of-27) with four doubles, three triples, and 13 RBIs.
