Freshman sensation #Eric Line# crossed the finish line first to win the Men’s 5000-meter run in this his first trip to the All-Ohio meet. Line blazed around the oval in a new Oberlin record time of 15:11.46. The new mark set by Line is more than three seconds faster than the previous record set by Hugh Finn in 1995.
