Westlake, Ohio – After a career performance against the Tigers last Saturday, Oberlin College men's lacrosse sophomore
Christian Tacogue has been named the NCAC Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning
En route to his first Athlete of the Week honor, the Kentucky native delivered a breakout performance in Oberlin's dominant 19-9 win over Wittenberg.
Tacogue led the team with a career-high six points, netting five goals on five shots and adding an assist. His perfect shooting performance and offensive output marked new career bests in both goals and total points, helping power the Yeomen to their largest scoring output of the conference season.
The Yeomen return home for their first home match of NCAC play, hosting Kenyon on Wednesday, April 9. Honoring the
