Stone and Muldoon Named USILA Honorable-Mention All-Americans

USILA All-Americans

Louisville, KY - Recent Oberlin College graduates Kiernan Stone and Michael Muldoon were named Honorable-Mention All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), the organization announced on Wednesday.

A Newton, Massachusetts, Stone is one of the greatest defensemen to ever don the Crimson and Gold. Setting a single-season school record with 39 caused turnovers this year, Stone also gobbled up a career-best 114 ground balls, which is the most of any non-face-off specialist in program history.

In his career, Stone secured 267 ground balls, ranking second all-time. Additionally, his 89 career caused turnovers are the most in school history.

A midfield stalwart throughout his career, Muldoon capped off his illustrious career with 52 points on 27 goals and a career-high 25 assists.

In 54 career games, Muldoon produced 154 points on 100 goals and 54 assists to accompany his 87 career ground balls. He is one of just eight players in Oberlin men's lacrosse history to score 100 or more goals and one of just nine players with over 150 points.

Each earning All-NCAC First-Team laurels this season, the duo helped lead the Yeomen into the NCAC Tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history.
