Hilton Head, S.C. - The Oberlin College men's tennis team dropped its first two matches of its spring trip on Monday when they lost in a close match, 5-4, to Virginia Wesleyan and then fell to regionally-ranked University of Chicago, 9-0.

Charlie Marks took No. 1 doubles, 9-7.
Marks led the Yeomen with another victory in second singles, 7-5, 6-1, while Turchin added the team's third win for Oberlin in third singles by the scores of 7-2, 6-4.
Sophomore
Soren Zeliger rounded out the Yeomen winners when he took No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-0.
In their second match of the day, the Yeomen were unable to take a victory as the lost to the ITA Central region's seventh-ranked Chicago Maroons, 9-0.
Freshman
Callan Louis played strong in first singles, but fell to Chicago's Deepak Sabada who currently ranks 13th in the region.
Oberlin's falls to 6-3 after Monday's losses.
The Yeomen will look to get back on track on March 29 when they take on Colby College at 8 a.m. and Concordia University at 3 p.m.
