Kent, Ohio – Seniors Clara Shaw and Seth Wimberly each competed in two events at the Kent State Tune-Up meet on Saturday afternoon.

Wimberly, a native of Covington, Georgia, ran well in both the 200 and 400 meters. His 200-meter time of 22.34 is a new school record. In the longer track of the two he finished 10th overall with a time of 49.65.

Shaw, a native of Roseville, Minnesota, finished seventh in the 800 meters at 2:20.66 and completed the mile in 5:12.66 to end in 13th place.

Oberlin returns to action next Friday some team members competing at New York University, while others will be running at the Denison University Last Chance Meet.
