Gambier, Ohio – The Oberlin College women's swimming and diving team defeated Ohio Northern University and swam well against NCAC foe Kenyon College on Friday evening. The men's team swam hard, but was upended by both teams.
The Yeowomen took down the Polar Bears 137.5-105.5 and knocked off a limited Ladies squad 152-74. Due to NCAA rules the victory over Kenyon does not officially count due to the fact that it used just seven swimmers in the meet.
“It was a very good meet and we responded well from having our training trip cut short,” Head Coach Mark Fino said. “It was a good start to the second part of our season as we begin to prepare for conference.”
