Gambier, Ohio – Three Oberlin College golfers competed at the Kenyon College Invite over the weekend at the Par-72, 6,946-yard course in Gambier.

Without four golfers, the Yeomen did not compete as a team, but Darryl Maynard, Noah Goldman and Ron Rupard played as individuals.

Maynard placed 57th overall as he carded in a two-round total of 199 (99-100). Goldman shaved five strokes off his opening-round score of 106 to finish with 207 total swings and a 59th-place finish. Rupard finished one spot back with 211 (106-105) strokes.

The College of Wooster won the event with 660 (317-343) swings. Kyle Martin of Ohio Wesleyan was the medalist with a score of 150 (73-77).
