Final Results
Hilton Head, S.C. –
Ben Godlove, the Oberlin No. 1, is the winner of two matches in a row as he defeated Michel Olivier Marcou of the University of Sioux Falls, 6-4, 7-5.
Oberlin surrendered all three doubles matches with Godlove and
Joe Leffler pushing Marcou and Borjan Jaksic, eventually succumbing 8-5. Godlove was the solo winner during singles play.
Head coach Adam Shoemaker commented post match, “We are improving each time out and within each match. The scores indicate that we're playing stronger second sets after the guys are making some adjustments mid-match.”

James Blankenship and
Peder Davis, OC's No. 4-6, were each much improved during their respective second sets. Blankenship challenged Codie Schmeichel to an 7-5 second set after falling in the first 6-0.
“We have a tough match ahead of us as we face Whitman tomorrow, they rank 23rd in the nation, but the guys will give it their all and it will definitely prepare us for conference play when we return home.” said Shoemaker
The Yeomen are back on the courts for their final dual match in Hilton Head tomorrow morning as they face Whitman.
