Westlake, Ohio – Five Oberlin College women's soccer players earned All-NCAC honors, highlighted by senior
Sarah Grabinski who was named to the first-team for the second straight season, the league office on Monday.

Lois Immerman garnered All-NCAC Second-Team honors, while
Christie Zelnik and
Ryann McChesney were tabbed as honorable-mention selections. The five Oberlin honorees mark the most of any Yeowomen squad since 1998.
“I was happy to see our peers around the league honor these players for their hard work and efforts all season long,” Head Coach Kristen Hayden said.
Grabinski, who battled through injury throughout year, played in 14 games and finished second in the NCAC with 4.29 saves per game and was fourth in the league with 60 saves.
Sako led the Yeowomen with seven scores, three of which went for game-winners. She finished in the top ten in the league in points (16), points per game (.84), goals (7), goals per game (.37) and game-winning goals (3).
Immerman, a 2008 All-NCAC Honorable-Mention selection, finished second on the team with four goals to go along with one assist as she started all 19 games.
Zelnik, who saw time in nine games, recorded the only two Yeowomen shutouts on the season. She made 32 saves, had a 1.10 goals against average and a save percentage of 80- percent in 653 minutes of work.
McChesney led Oberlin with four assists on the season while starting all 19 games.
The Yeowomen will take part in their non-traditional spring season, before returning to the pitch fulltime in the fall of the 2010.
