September 20 - The Muskingum College men's soccer team defeated the Yeomen 1-0 Saturday afternoon in New Concord, Ohio. The Muskies Drew Untied was able to capitalize on an early set piece as he headed home a Paul Lafyatis corner kick.

The Muskies found the back of the net after putting the Oberlin defense under early pressure forcing the corner kick in the 11th minute. During the first half neither team was able to control the tempo as play went from end to end.

Drew Williamson and Pete Sabo each tallied three shots apiece for the Yeomen. Goalkeeper Zach Lipshultz was forced to make six saves during 90 minutes of play.

Oberlin College (6-3) will look to rebound when they host North Coast Athletic Conference foe Hiram College Saturday, September 27 following a week of training.
