Oberlin College Athletics

Sean Fri, Class of 1988, was a four year letter winner (1984-88) for the Oberlin swimming and diving team. Fri also served as team captain for two seasons. Sean was a seven-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference diver and never finished worse than third at the NCAC championships. He was either a champion or runner-up five times. Additionally, Fri was All-America an impressive six times. The highlight of his career came in 1988 when he was the NCAA Division III one- meter diving champion and became the first individual NCAA champion from Oberlin.
