Robin Cardin-Lowe, a member of the class of 1988, earned six varsity letters-four in field hockey and two in lacrosse. Lowe was voted the team's Most Inspirational Player in 1985 and 1986 and was captain of the field hockey team her senior season. She was named first-team All-NCAC four times and led the NCAC in both saves and save percentage from 1985 to 1987. Lowe set a school record with 353 saves in 1986, the fifth-best total in conference history, and in 1987 she registered a school-record .943 save percentage, a mark that stands third all-time in the conference. A first-team regional All-American selection as a junior and senior, Lowe was named the NCAC Player of the Year in 1987. Her 1,332 career saves rank first in conference history and she is second all-time with a .913 career save percentage. In 1993 Lowe was named to the NCAC 10th Anniversary Field Hockey Team.
