A lockdown defensive back throughout his four-year career on the gridiron, Quammie Semper was feared by opposing offenses. Oberlin's all-time leader with 21 career interceptions, Quammie produced a single-season North Coast Athletic Conference record of 10 interceptions in 2003.

A first-team All-NCAC selection in his senior season, Quammie added school records for single-season interception return yards (168) and single-game interception return yards with 110 in a 37-13 win over Earlham.

A 2003 Football Gazette and D3football.com All-American selection, Semper holds the school record with 425 interception yards and had one interception return for a touchdown in each of his four seasons.

A native of Houston, Texas, Quammie has served in the United States Army since 2004 in multiple capacities, which included two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he earned a Bronze Star for his service commanding 84 soldiers. Quammie currently serves as an Acquisition Career Manager at Human Resources Command (HRC) in Ft Knox, Kentucky. He is tasked with career management and the professional development process for over 400 field grade Officers within the Corps.

Quammie, who graduated from Oberlin with a degree in sociology, credits his time as a student-athlete in helping him persevere and stay positive no matter what was going on around him. Quammie's power of positive thinking has carried him through some hard times while in the military.
