Mox A. Weber was listed on Savage's All-Oberlin team as the right halfback. Regarded as "the best back in the conference" in 1924, Weber was named to the All-Ohio team that season. The team of 1924 enjoyed a perfect 8-0 season, the last time Oberlin has had an unbeaten untied season. Besides playing quarterback Weber also punted and kicked field goals. The Oberlin Review described Weber as "the most accurate passer ever seen on a football field." He also started as a pitcher for the baseball team and at guard for the basketball squad. He coached football, basketball, and baseball at Hamilton College in New York, where he is now emeritus director of athletics.
